As you should know, after the Tokyo's earthquake, the Fukushima nuclear power station was damaged, and left a lot of nuclear waste! :(

Fukushima Station

For our surprise a group of 200 pensioners are volunteering to clean it! They are retired engineers, all over 60 years.

They said the young engineers shouldn't be facing the dangers of radiation, and that they can do it.

They said than in average, the have 13 - 15 years left of life, and the cancer take at least 20 -30 years to grow up, so they are the appropriated people for this mission.

They said they aren't kamikaze because they are going to come back!

I think this is awesome! The people in Japan are so civilized and the care a lot of the others, people around the world should take this example.

What do you think about?

It's about Japanese life style, and how they're connected with the nature, I think we can take the example and try to be better in this way.

I really like this presentacion, I hope it like you too.

I hope you enjoyed it.

And remember... Be Bamboo!
In the past I posted about myself but now I'm on the English's third level, so I'm going to improve it.

In this blog I'll post about stuff I like, and I'll criticize stuff I dislike. I hope to improve my English's skills and have  fun with my classmates, and projects.

Let's start...

Hi Dear reader! My name is Jose Mejias. I'm from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I'm 17 years old. Actually I live in Maracaibo, Venezuela a beautiful city :) where I study Electronic Engineering at URBE.

I study Electronics because it's everywhere! and I love to learn how it works. In the future I'd like to design useful stuff and help humanity to have a more comfortable life.

In my free time I like to surf in the internet looking for new information, meeting new people, watching videos and playing video games.

I love to learn a lot of stuff, eat sweets and make myself weird questions. I love read books and manga too and of course see the anime version of this mangas. The anime never is better than the manga, so I use to read first the manga.

I hate onions, consumerism and hypocrisy. I hate people who don't care the planet ¬¬...

In the future I want to become and excelent engineering. I want to travel to Japan to meet the Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro and go the CEATEC, the largest IT and Electronics exhibition and conference in the world.

About English, I really like to learn it, and improve it every day, I read news and articles everyday in English. But I'm not so good with the Speaking, I hope to get better in this level :)

In this section I met Arlette Salas and I'll talk you about she :)

Arlette (left), Suraidi (right) and me (middle).

Name: Her name is Arlette Salas. She's from Maracaibo, Venezuela. She's a student from the Informatics Engineering School. She's 19 years old. She lives in Maracaibo.

Likes: She likes to play video games, surf in the internet and eat chocolate!

Dislikes: She dislikes hypocrisy, and mind-closed people.

Dreams: She dreams with travel around the world, learn a lot of languages, end the global war, work at Maxis n' Electronics Arts, and meet Richard Stallman and Bill Gates.

About English: She has a simple thought about it: If you don't learn it you'll lose a lot of opportunities in the life.

I hope you liked it! I'll wait you in the next post! ^.^
